Visit to the Fire station
In November 1st, just before Bonfire Night the whole group visited Bridlington Fire Station. The theme of the visit was fire safety.

Fells Marathon 2011
In October 2011 members of the Scouts took part and did really well in the Fells Marathon in the Yorkshire Dales coming a very creditable 9th Place out of 29 teams that entered. Next year we aim to win it!

1st Bridlington Scout Group Win £500

This was a fantastic result for the group. Here the group of Scouts receive a cheque from WD40s representative Amy.


Sky High June 2011

Most of the Scouts had a weekend in the sky. Sky High 2011 is an excellent event and is an action packed weekend. As well as parascending you can have a go at go-karting, land yachting, Kites – kite buggies, model planes, glider (simulator flights), and a climbing wall.

ShelterBox Tandem Bike Ride

On June 14th 2011 round the world tandem cycle riders Huw and Carolyn Thomas came into Bridlington and we were there to give them an escort into Bridlington.

Proposed Cycle Route from Bridlington to Flamborough Lighthouse

1st Bridlington Scout Group got on their bikes and pedalled along 12 miles of proposed cycle path to highlight the need for a safe route linking the two areas.
